1. How does a Guest Register for the FordPass app?
To register for the FordPass app, start by downloading the app from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices. FordPass 5.X Experience users should open the FordPass app and select the Vehicle icon. Tap on Account and then choose Connected Services. Under your electric vehicle (EV), find BlueOval Charge Network, then tap Activate. Tap Next and follow the on-screen prompts to add your credit card and read and accept the Terms & Conditions. Finally, tap Confirm Activation to complete the process.Â
Ford.com users should log in to Ford.com and click on the Profile icon. From the dropdown menu, select [Your Name]'s Account. Click on Connected Services and, if you have multiple vehicles on your account, tap the Select button under your electric vehicle (EV). Choose Activate under BlueOval Charge Network and tap Next. Follow the on-screen prompts to add your credit card and read and accept the Terms & Conditions. Finally, tap Confirm Activation to complete the process.Â

To locate public chargers using the FordPass app, customers should tap the "Energy" button at the bottom of the FordPass home screen, and then tap "Public Charging." From the map view, customers can view public chargers near their location or input another location into the search bar to browse chargers elsewhere. For public chargers in the BlueOval Charge Network, customers can tap the icon on the map view, then tap "Activate" next to the name of the charger they plan to use. Customers can tap the filter icon for more filter options.Â
4. How can a customer find nearby public chargers and activate them using their vehicle's touchscreen?
To locate an electric charger using their vehicle's touchscreen, customers can use the Public Charging App: Tap the Home icon and select the Public Charging app. Customers can view public chargers near their location or input another location into the search bar to browse chargers elsewhere. For public chargers in the BlueOval Charge Network, customers can tap on the name of the location in the Public Charging app, and then tap "Activate" next to the name of the charger they plan to use. 5. How can a customer route to a charger using the vehicle's Connected Navigation system?
To route to a charger using the Connected Navigation system in their Ford electric vehicle, customers should tap the Home icon at the top of the SYNC screen and select "Navigation." Customers can input a destination by tapping "Where to?" and then enter their search criteria or find destinations by category. Connected Navigation will automatically add public chargers to the customer's route, as required.Â
